Eating above TDEE, no weight gain.

Basically I got very serious about eating around 2 months ago. When I saw how the scale had not changed in around 3 months. 150lbs, and today, I’m still 150lbs. I’m 5’7” and would like to be 170. I’m 17, and based on the calculator I should eat around 2600 calories. I’ve been eating at least 3000 and sometimes more. I’ve been trying to get more down than this for a little while and have thrown up 7 times in the past couple weeks. Any tips would be helpful.

How can a skinny guy like me gain weight, what should I be eating?

I know lifting weights and exercising is a critical factor but as far as eating I'm somewhat confused. I'm about 6'4 and only weigh 200 pounds. My question is how do I go about eating lots of calories, but at the same time eat foods that I can digest properly. For example, complex carbs like brown rice and pasta make me gain quicker but are very hard on my gut, though I've noticed that I gain when I eat those but its not healthy for me to constantly eat pasta and such on a daily. Also, I'm prett...

Can't Gain Weight At Almost 500 Calories Above TDEE?

14 160cm 54kg Noob-Lifter (Bit under 2 months, but did calisthenics for 6 months inconsistently) TDEE is 2286 Calories I lift 3 times a week and I'm not overly active outside of the gym, I don't even walk home. On weekends I either study or game most of the time. My weight did go up a bit as I started my lean bulk (after losing some on my 1 month recomp) by 4 pounds in roughly 3 weeks but it's stalled for the past week (been losing weight for some reason wtf). Weight for the past week and a h...

New to lifting weights, previous eating disorder, coping with weight gain advice...

Hi, I am female and recovered from an eating disorder ten years ago and have remained at 140 pounds since. Always done a lot of cardio based sports, but started lifting weights properly around Christmas. I have gained about 5 pounds, can see I am more toned, but not lost any actual inches in any of the measured places. I'm just looking for a bit of support as it's making me really anxious. The advice seems to be measure inches lost, but none of those either. Good diet, eating lots of protein and...

Need serious help to gain weight

I'm 16 years old 5'9 and 118lbs. I struggled with being overweight and until highschool I was made fun of for being fat. I lost a lot of weight in high school naturally from getting taller and joining the rugby team. Pretty soon though I began to obsess over food and I started to eat way to little and I lost way to much weight. Usually a solution to this would just be to eat a lot of food but it's not that easy for me. Mainly I don't know how much I really need to eat. I have rugby practice four...

Weight Gain

I am 15, 6'2-3, weighing low 130's I am constantly seen as being skinny and considered by most to be bulimic or to have a eating disorder. Roughly 20-30 pounds under-average and 30-50 under football average. I eat every meal and tend to snack a good amount on whatever is in-front of me, but I have never enjoyed eating. I do football workouts every week day, weight lifting Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Running and speed drills on Tuesday and Thursday. The workouts are extremely rigorous, I canno...

Weight and muscle gain

Let me start by describing myself and my goals. I am male, height 6 feet 5 inches and weigh 210 lbs. For the last 2 years I have been working out on and off. Which also means I have been taking protein shakes on and off. Milk products don't really agree with my stomach and yet I have been pushing whey protein down my system. I have gained and lost muscle over the years, but one prominent effect I have seen is that I have lost a lot of weight specifically on my face. I want to switch to protein ...

Changing my mindset on weight loss (TDEE & Body Recomposition)?

I am a 40 year old woman and I weight 235lbs. I have battled with my weight since I was a teenager in the 90's. Looking back I was not even fat back then but I had a large frame and a thick body type with a butt, hips and thighs but it was the age of the waif and kate moss at various times in my teens and twenties I would literaly starve myself on diets of 500 - 1000 calories a day while doing intense cadio 90 minutes a day. I also abused xenadrine tablets and other weight loss pills at times. I...

Lose weight or gain muscle? Lose my butt?

Hi everyone! I'm so conflicted about how to train in the gym... I would like to lose some fat around my abdomen and legs (so everywhere, as I know you can't spot reduce), but I'm worried about losing my butt (it's a decent shape right now, but if I lose fat it gets kind of flat and a little saggy). I also want to build up the muscles in my back and arms because I'm naturally skinny up top. For reference, I'm 31 years old 5'6 about 135 lbs with 28-29 inch waist, 31-32 inch around belly button and...
