Using 'for loop' through an array after removing duplicates with array_unique

The reason is that the keys haven't changed. You should use a foreach() loop where possible to iterate through arrays. I rarely ever use a for loop. If you would like to reassign the indices after the call to array_unique(), you can use array_values(). Then you can use a classic for() loop. $unique_even_numbers = array_values(array_unique($even_numbers));

array asignation inside a loop of another array

I'm trying to clean a Spam attack in my server making a script for clean queues of all the email accounts. I'm using Mail-In-A-Box and I don't know how to get all the configured emails from bash, so I discovered that the domains are saved on specific a folder and the name of every email within each of them. For example for [email protected]: /path/to/folder/example.com/info So, my idea is to loop all the domain folders and the names inside of them for applying the queue clean one by one. I'v...

AHK: Loop thru Associative Array

Happy to be back in the forums! So after some extensive searching both in the AHK documentation, stackexchange and the ahk_forum, I have decided to seek help from the experts I will explain the code I am working on and then post some examples. I have written a script that pulls the value of untranslated and unverified words of 6 different word files and does this for 23 different languages via WebTranslateIt (site). I have managed to get it to work by coping the block of code and setting the...

Bash for loop array on UNIX

Hi there, A bit new to bash and am having an issue with a for loop. I look for filenames in a specified directory and pull the date string from each meeting a certain criteria, and then would like to make a directory for each date found, like this: Code: search 20180101.gz 20180102.gz 20180103.gz store 20180101 20180102 20180103 in an array mkdir for each value found The problem is that the mkdir part is only making a directory for the first value found. This is the actual code: Code: ...

Using NC in For Loop to Iterate through Array with IP Addresses - syntax error: invalid arithmetic operator

I am working on create a Bash script for my job that iterates through an array of IP addresses, and uses NC to scan for open ports on each of those IP addresses. If I were to use the NC command by itself and manually type out the command for each IP address, then it will work but that is not a good way to do it. However, I run into an error when I use an array with all of the IP addresses in it. Here is an example of my code (using IP addresses of Google and Microsoft for examples and privacy): ...

Removing selectable elements from a 2 dimensional array

I am using a 2 dimensional array to set up the game board of an arkanoid-like game I'm making. I haven't really used 2d arrays before, but someone suggested this would work better for me than the list I was originally using. My problem is that when a brick spawns, I need to remove that element from the list of options for the random brick spawn location. My brick spawns are random, but with conditions. Other than the first one, they need to spawn touching another brick. For now, I am just trying...

Resetting an array within an Control & Simulation loop

Afternoon all,   I'm fairly new to the Control & Simulation module, so I may be missing something obvious, but the attached subvi is giving me some trouble. Each time I run it, it's concatenating the new data onto the old. I want fresh data each time.   What am I missing, and what can I do differently to fix it?   Cheers!...

flexible in loop in array

Hello everyone,   I'm getting there, but not perfect. Still learning to do write the script in PHP. Anyway, I am trying to get set up the flexible array and values in html and SQL. I am trying to make different name, cannot same name in loop. For example, in PHP, to get data value from $_POST from name from input in form area in html, so I can't figure how to get like array. In loop, look like:   using for or foreach loop, I need to have <input type="text" name="label$j"> in diff...

Replace array subset in parallel for loop without increasing memory

I am working with a large set of data (if I am not careful I crash the program because the computer can’t allocate enough to Labview) in an array and would like to loop through and modify portions of the array at a time. I have implemented the code just fine in a regular for loop, but can’t seem to find a way to parallelize it and still convince the compiler I am not going to step on myself with other loop iterations and maintain my memory footprint.   Basically the data is really a bunch o...

Data input Array with nested do loop

Good afternoon trying to get 2 variables cholestor_level and treat and ideally do this in 1 data step vs 2.  Have been fooling around with this for a while without luck trying nested do loop in this iteration but was initially thinking a 2 dimensional array should work but I could not figure that out either.  The fact that there is no treat variable in the data set is really confusing me.  This attempt is producing 90 observations in the output vs the expe...

Removing duplicates by satisfying a frequency condition

I have a data set which is much larger than my example below. I want to be able to remove the 'Person' duplicates by the 'type' variable. In particular, if they have the same 'Type', then can keep either. However, if they have different values for 'Type', i want to keep the record with the higher frequency. In this case it would be one with Type=2 (as there is 2 of them compared to only one record where Type=1). How would I go about doing this?    PersonTypeA2A2A1B3B3...

Transferring a string in a while loop to an array of objects

The attached project is a simplified version of a project I am working on.   VI.vi is a dynamic VI that takes in MQTT messages from the ‘FromMainVI’ queue.   The first set of messages sent via the 'FromMainVI' queue gives a list of s. These are taken in by the “(A)_setSerialNumber” option in the ‘Queue messages’ case statement in the ‘(1)_Main_while_loop’. A ‘(B)_allSerialNumbersSent’ message is sent to enable the next step in the process to start (i.e. this ends the running of the ‘(2...
