iPad Air Wi-Fi: Dead spot after digitizer replacement?

Hi everyone, i recently smashed my IPad Air's front screen and tried to do the replacement by myself following your guide. After fitting everything back together I was excited to see that it seemed to work again. It took me a while to realize that I now have a dead spot of about a square inch in the top left corner of the screen. The screen doesn't respond to touch in that area. All the other parts of the screen are working perfectly fine. What are the chances that disassembling and reconne...

iPad Air: iPad Air 1 not charging after replacing digitizer.

I replaced the digitizer on an iPad Air 1. The iPad shows that it is charging and the tone is heard when plugged in, still it does not charge above 40%. I am using an official charger and cable that works on another iPad. This is not the first digitizer that I have replaced. I have reset and downloaded the most current iSO. I followed the ifixit instructions. I am at end on what to try next. Any help will be greatly appreciated. ⟐ Answered March 8, 2018 at 7:41 PM MST...

iPad 2 GSM: Home button not responding after digitizer replacement, how can I fix?

I've just replace the digitizer on my iPad 2 GSM, and now the home button doesn't respond. I don't see how the home button even interfaces with the logic board, as it seems to just be a small PCB board behind the actual button, that doesn't connect to anywhere... Flex 5 Digitizer and palm rejection not great

I bought the Lenovo Flex 5 with digitizer and active stylus hoping I would be able to use it for drawing and painting as well as writing notes/ journaling as it's advertised to be capable of but I'm really disappointed. First of all, if my palm is resting on the screen the pen acts really glitchy. Only about 10% of what I write/draw is registered at all and half of that is really delayed. Additionally the action isn't very accurate, if I use a ruler to draw a line it tuns out...

iPad Pro digitizer broken (comes and goes)

My daughter was watching Youtube when the touch input (digitizer) just stopped working. I thought it might be moisture, so I put it in my cars dashboard in the sun for 20 minutes (while running some errands), and it magically started working again. But then it stopped working again. Started and stopped, started and stopped. It's been several days, so it's not moisture. Does anyone know what could cause the touch sensing to fail, but intermittently come back?...

iPad Mini: Th screen stays black after a digitizer replacement.

I successfully replaced the digitizer of a customer's iPad Mini with the soldering method. I connected everything and tested, and it was successful except for the home button. I disconnected the digitizer flex and the screen flex and the battery also. I wanted to test again and connected everything. I tried to turn on the Mini, but only had sound and no screen. The screen stays black. iTunes recognises the Ipad Mini, and I did a DFU in hopes that it would work, but no success. NO SCREEN. What...

iPad 5 Wi-Fi: iPad 5 won't power up after digitizer replacement

I replaced the digitizer on my iPad 5 as well as the home button. Prior to the screen replacement, the iPad was perfectly operational, it just had the broken screen. Everything with the replacement went as expected although it was very tedious. I did not manage to get the touch id home button out in one piece so i used the one provided with my digitizer which was already in place. The only thing that I didn't realize on the front end was the battery disconnection because it was not in the fixit...
